PURPOSE: An image compensating method for a monitoring camera is provided to clearly correct the photographed image with excessive high gradation. CONSTITUTION: A color coordinate converter changes an image data into an RGB domain. A first converter changes each RGB value by an exponential function. If the converted value is smalls than a low value, a second converter integrally provides zero value. If the converted value is larger than the high value, the second converter provides a fixed value. The color coordinate converter changes the converted RGB image data into an YCbCr domain. |
