PURPOSE: A nozzle inspecting unit and liquid discharging apparatus thereof are provided to easily inspect a nozzle and to restrict the movement distance of a head according to the individual driving of a head. CONSTITUTION: A first nozzle inspecting member(920) inspects whether to inspect the liquid crystal of a nozzle. A first operating member(940) moves the first nozzle inspection member to the alignment direction of the nozzle. The first nozzle inspecting member includes a bass(922), a light emitting unit, and a light receiving unit. The bass accepts the liquid crystal which is discharged from the nozzles. The light emitting unit is arranged in one side of the bass. The light receiving unit is arranged in the other side of the bass. |
