PURPOSE: A broadcasting service system and a broadcasting service method are provided to display a previously stored advertisement during a broadcasting stand-by time. CONSTITUTION: A content providing server(200) transmits one or more contents between a broadcasting content or an interactive data content. If a content reproduction unit(100) receives one or more contents between the broadcasting content or the interactive data content, the content reproduction unit displays previously stored at least one advertisement image to a display area during a waiting time for receiving a broadcasting content.
