Diesel fuel formulation containing (i) fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) with<=50% w/w saturates, (ii) dialkyl carbonate (DAC) and (iii) an additional diesel fuel component. Also provided is a diesel fuel supplement containing FAME and DAC, for use in a diesel fuel formulation. The invention further provides the use of DAC in a diesel fuel formulation containing FAME, or of FAME in a diesel fuel formulation containing DAC, or of FAME and DAC in a diesel fuel formulation, for the purpose of reducing the cold filter plugging (CFPP) point of the formulation or of reducing the concentration of a cold flow additive in the formulation. The DAC may be a diethyl carbonate (DEC) or a dibutyl carbonate (DBC).
