PURPOSE: A speaker module of a portable terminal and speaker phone mode execution method are provided to use a speaker in a speakerphone mode and to enhance the availability of two microphones. CONSTITUTION: A non-directional microphone is applied to one side of a terminal. A directional microphone(13) is applied to the other side of the terminal. One or more speakers(12) are installed in the same direction as the directional microphone. A control unit determines a voice signal level which is inputted to two microphones. The control unit sets up a transmission mode of a terminal. The control unit mutes the microphone.
