PURPOSE: A wide-band coupler is provided to improve the coupling efficiency of the coupler and overcome ripple related problems by increasing the area of a microstrip line. CONSTITUTION: Microstrip lines(120, 130) are formed on the upper side and the lower side of a first dielectric layer(110). A second dielectric layer(140) is formed on the upper side of the first dielectric layer including the first microstrip line. A fist ground layer is formed on the upper side of the second dielectric layer. A third dielectric layer is formed on the lower side of the first dielectric layer. A second ground layer is formed on the lower side of the third dielectric layer. Grooves are formed in the ground layers. |
