PURPOSE: A suction type soldering iron is provided to protect a user from solder smoke by drawing in and filtering solder smoke during soldering. CONSTITUTION: A suction type soldering iron comprises a commutator motor and a filter device. The commutator motor rotates a rotary vane over ten thousand times to evacuate a suction device. The filter device comprises a filter which is attached in the suction device to remove lead from solder smoke.
