PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating water using photo-catalyst is provided to semi-permanently maintain the life expectancy of the apparatus by collecting and recycling used photo-catalyst. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating water using photo-catalyst includes a water treating part(100) and a photo-catalyst circulating part(300). The water treating part exposes fluid from the outside to ultraviolet ray(120) while being floated on the fluid. The fluid is in direct contact with photo-catalysts(130) and is sterilized. Sterilized fluid is discharged with the photo-catalyst. The photo-catalyst circulating part is in connection with the water treating part. The discharged photo-catalysts and fluid are separated along different flowing paths. A part of the photo-catalysts is collected and is introduced into the water treating part.
