PURPOSE: A variable displacement swash plate compressor is provided to minimize noises and vibration caused by sudden flow of refrigerant by employing a suction check valve in a suction passage between a suction chamber and a suction port. CONSTITUTION: A variable displacement swash plate compressor comprises a cylinder block(110), a front housing(130), a rear housing(150), and a suction check valve(190). A crank case(131) is formed inside the front housing. The rear housing includes a suction chamber(151), a discharge chamber(153), and a suction port(155), wherein a suction passage(157) is formed between the suction chamber and the suction port. The suction check valve, which comprises a valve case, a valve(193), and a spring(S), is installed in the suction passage to prevent sudden flow of refrigerant from the suction chamber to the suction port. |
