PURPOSE: A young seedling detecting apparatus is provided to facilitate path amendment for removing weed by enhancing recognition rate about young seedling using a laser sensor. CONSTITUTION: A robot using a young seedling detecting apparatus comprises: a movable part(10) providing a moving function; a young seedling detecting apparatus(20) which collects information about working path plan; a power supply unit(40) for offering the necessary power source to each part; a weeding part(50) for weeding the weed of a paddy field; a transceiver(60) for wireless communication; an input unit(70); an output unit(90) for outputting information; a storage(80) for storing the information for the drive of the robot; and a controller(100) for controlling the function of elements.
