PURPOSE: An image processing method of a mobile terminal is provided to rapidly decode an image data using a thumbnail image. CONSTITUTION: A control unit display an image data of images in a memory to a display screen(S401). If a first view picture is requested, an image processing unit decodes the stored thumbnail(S404). The image processing unit scales the image size of the decoded thumbnail into a display screen size(S305). The image processing unit perform a post-processing the scaled image data and displays the data to the display screen(S406,S407).
