DOG CLUTCH IN MANUAL TRANSMISSION

摘要

PURPOSE: A dog clutch for a manual transmission is provided to achieve gentle feeling of shift operation through optimization of chamfer shapes of gear teeth. CONSTITUTION: A dog clutch for a manual transmission comprises a fork operating unit(5) which is formed on a side of a main shaft gear(3) of a main shaft(2), a main shaft hub(6) which is coupled with the main shaft, and clutch gears(70,70') which are respectively formed on the inner periphery of the fork operating unit and the outer periphery of the main shaft hub. The clutch gears have gear teeth with a specific interval(L), wherein the chamfer shape of the gear teeth has a specific angle(D) around the center line(K-K).
