PURPOSE: A tundish with a molten steel temperature measuring apparatus is provided to ensure the continuous simplified temperature measurement of molten metal and prevent thermal damage to a thermocouple unit because the thermocouple unit is installed in a main dam in order to indirectly contact molten metal. CONSTITUTION: A tundish comprises a tundish body(100) containing molten metal, a main dam(110) which is located higher than the level of molten metal in the tundish body and has one or more setting holes opened upwards, a thermocouple unit(300) which is installed in the setting holes, a fireproof tube(340) which is inserted into the setting holes to protect the thermocouple unit, a tundish cover(200) which covers the tundish body and has through holes corresponding to the position of the setting holes, and a protective member(400) which is installed between the main dam and the cover to cover the part connecting the setting holes and the through holes.
