PURPOSE: A welding rear side temperature predicting system and method are provided to reduce welding time and costs by preventing the burning of a welding rear side. CONSTITUTION: A welding rear side temperature predicting method is as follows. Welding input information is input(S410). Welding method information is input. Welding form information is input. Temperature calculation input information is input(S420). A maximum temperature and speed output value of a welding rear side is calculated using the temperature calculation input information. A rear side maximum temperature value is produced. The speed output is computed.
