CLUTCH FOR STARTING MOTOR OF GAS TURBINE ENGINE

PURPOSE: A clutch for a starter motor of a gas turbine engine is provided to minimize damage to power transmission members by ensuring all the power transmission members simultaneously transfer the power from a starter motor to a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A clutch for a starter motor of a gas turbine engine comprises a hub(10), a spline unit(20), and a power control unit(40). The hub is connected to a drive shaft(1) of a starter motor and formed with a first spline(13). The spline unit comprises a spline member(21) formed with second and third splines(22,23) and an outer race(24) formed with a fourth spline. The power control unit selectively connects the spline unit to the rotor.
