The unit has a border section (2) arranged at an edge of an insulated glass element (1) i.e. vacuum insulated glass element, and mounting the glass element at a support element. The section is connected with glass element by a sealing mass (7). The section is made of plastic with a soft core (12) and a hard outer shell (11). The core is made of light-weight polyurethane foam with heat conductivity of 0.025 Watt per meter square Kelvin. The outer shell is made of polyurethane mixture with a heat conductivity of 0.6 Watt per meter square Kelvin and a shore hardness larger relative to the core. |
