The anchoring system, e.g. for a liquefied gas or septic tank, set in an excavation in the ground, consists of laying a metal mesh panel (2) or grille in the bottom of the excavation and fastening the tank to it by straps (3, 4) with sufficient mechanical strength and durability before the excavation is back-filled. The surface of the mesh panel is designed to resist the maximum effort applied by the straps in the event of the empty tank being lifted by water in the excavation. |
