<p>According to the invention, a gasket is provided between a housing (1) and a position-changeable reflector (2) of a motor vehicle illuminant. At least one smooth exterior sealing surface (23) is available on the reflector (2) for the co-operation with the gasket (3) and at least one smooth interior sealing surface (14) is available in the housing (1) for the co-operation with the gasket (3). The gasket (3) is one-piece designed and comprises at least an approximately tubularly designed stationary sealing area (31) adapted for abutting the exterior surface (23) of the respectively available reflector (2) on the one hand, and at least a dynamic sealing area (32), adapted for abutting the interior surface (14) of the respectively available housing (1) and protruding at least approximately radially outwards from the said stationary area (31), namely a so called sleeve which comprises a slightly curved convex exterior sealing surface (321), on the other hand. On one end (310') of the stationary sealing area (31) of the gasket (3) near the transition into the dynamic sealing area (32) and at a displacement from the latter, a weakening (33) is provided as a notch running in the perimetral direction of the gasket (3), directed in the axial direction of the stationary sealing area (31) and opened in the direction towards the exterior surface (321) of the dynamic sealing area (32). The stationary sealing area (31) of the gasket (3) is secured against shifting in one or another direction along the optical axis (20) of the reflector (2).</p> |
