<p>Insulating board comprises a part having insulating properties and a part having an additional protective function. The part having insulating properties is made from a gray expanded polystyrene with additives of infrared absorbers and/or reflectors. The part with the protective function is made from a plastic hard foam. An independent claim is also included for a method for joining two foam boards to form an insulating board. Preferred Features: The part with the insulating properties is made from graphite, carbon black, metal powder, especially aluminum powder, metal oxides, especially iron (III) oxide or aluminum oxide, or non-metal oxides, especially silicon dioxide.</p> |
