PURPOSE: A variable filtration apparatus is provided to simplify the operational mechanism for controlling the thickness of a filtration layer by the winded number of filter media. CONSTITUTION: A variable filtration apparatus capable of adjusting the thickness of a filtration layer includes a filter medium, a filtration tank(20), a filtration unit, a winding unit, a motor unit(40), a windup spring unit(60), and a controller(150). The filter medium is winded to a roller of the winding unit or a chamber of the filtration unit by the windup spring unit. The motor unit winds and unwinds the filter medium. The filter medium filters inflow water stored in a cavity of the filtration tank.
