CONCRETE COMPOSITION FOR PERVIOUS AND POROUS PAVEMENT

PURPOSE: A water-permeable type porous concrete composition for road pavement is provided to increase the freezing and thawing resistance property, the compressive strength, and the flexural strength and maintain the water-permeable property and water-drainage property of the composition using metakaolin powder and polyvinyl alcohol fiber as a binder. CONSTITUTION: A water-permeable type porous concrete composition for road pavement uses a fiber-mixed binder. The fiber-mixed binder is obtained by mixing polyvinyl alcohol fiber with mixed cement. The mixed cement includes cement and fine metakaolin. Concrete for road pavement includes the binder, coarse aggregate, and water. A water reducing agent is further included in the concrete.
