PURPOSE: A timber manufacturing bit and a timber manufacturing method using the same are provided to ensure reduced manufacturing time and simplified manufacturing process because forward and reverse cutting are implemented with a single bit. CONSTITUTION: A timber manufacturing bit(20) comprises a mounting unit(21) which is fixed to a bit fixing part of a timber manufacturing apparatus, a forward cutting unit(22) which is formed under the mounting unit, and a reverse cutting unit(23) which is formed under the forward cutting unit. The forward and reverse cutting units are rotated in forward and reverse directions, respectively, thereby manufacturing timber.
