Sound-absorbent panel comprises a sound-absorbent or -insulating material (3) such as mineral or glass fiber, one for more columns (1), one or more beams (2) perpendicular to the columns and one or more perforated metal cover sheets (4). The columns have a laminar form of set thickness and plates are fastened to the columns for supporting the beams. The sound-absorbent or -insulating material is fastened to the beam and covered with the cover sheets which have seals for soundproofing the panel and for allowing expansion of the parts connected to it. The panel has a cap (5) and cover plate (6).
