A positive electrode for an air-depolarized cell comprises a U-shaped laminate of conductive foil and a metal foil, the inside of the U forming an air pocket and having a spacer therein; and one or more overlying perforations formed in both foils, the diameter of that or those in the metal foil being greater than the diameter of the hole(s) in the conductive foil. A depolarizing mass is secured on the outside of the electrode. The term " conductive foil " embraces an electrically conductive synthetic plastic material. |
