OVERHEAD TRAVELING VEHICLE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An overhead traveling vehicle system is provided to efficiently perform buffering of articles while reducing a transfer time and improving reliability of transferring the articles. CONSTITUTION: In an overhead traveling vehicle system, a driving unit is moved along the rail of the ceiling train. A stoker(60) is installed in the side of the rail. A body base of the ceiling train land vehicle is arranged in the bottom of the rail. The ceiling train includes a platform supporting articles. A transverse direction moving unit(100) moves the rail of the ceiling train left and right.
