PURPOSE: An automatic opening and closing umbrella for one-handed person is provided to secure a long time use thereof without malfunction or damage. CONSTITUTION: An automatic opening and closing umbrella for one-handed person comprises: an umbrella post(10) in which an umbrella rib cask(30) collecting umbrella ribs is installed in the upper portion thereof and an umbrella handle cap is installed in the bottom thereof; an umbrella outer post(20) which is installed in the outside of the umbrella post and includes a handle in bottom thereof; a lock hole(12) which is punched in the umbrella post; and a handle(50) equipped with a lock button.
