PURPOSE: An insert material feed apparatus for an injection molding machine is provided to prevent damage to an insert molding unit and an insert pin by pressing the insert pin with the elasticity of an elastic spring. CONSTITUTION: An insert material feed apparatus for an injection molding machine comprises a lower body(2) which has a bottom joint plate, an upper body(3) which has an internal operation passage(31), a support pipe unit(4) which is formed on the top of the upper body to be connected to the operation passage and includes a jig part(41) for gripping an insert material(200), a drive cylinder(5) which is arranged in the operation passage and includes a transfer shaft(51) with a buffer panel(52), an insert delivery unit(6) which is transferred by the operation of the drive cylinder to deliver the insert material to an injection molding unit, a lock unit(7) which locks or unlocks the insert material, and an operating cylinder(8) which raises and lowers the lock unit.
