<p>PURPOSE: An extrusion speed control apparatus and method of an extruder are provided to automatically control the maximum production speed of extruded products by using the width and temperature of an extruded product obtained from a thermal image as control parameters. CONSTITUTION: An extrusion speed control apparatus of an extruder comprises an extruder which extrudes an extruded product(2) at the fixed RPM(Revolution Per Minute), a takeaway conveyor line(5) which transfers the extruded product discharged from the extruder, a thermal image sensor(11) which senses a thermal image of the extruded product discharged from the takeaway conveyor line, and a CPU(Central Processing Unit,4) which controls the speed of the takeaway conveyor line using the width and temperature of the extruded product obtained from the thermal image.</p> |
