The invention relates to a mechanism for biaxial steering meant for azimuth-type and altitude steering of a photovoltaic platform, so as to ensure high efficiency in collecting solar energy, in favourable geometric operating conditions. According to the invention, the mechanism consists of a fixed vertical pillar (0), a fork (1) articulated to the top end of the pillar (0), which performs an azimuth motion by means of an actuator (1') of a photovoltaic platform (2) articulated to the said fork (1) by means of a rotation multicouple whose horizontal axis A-A defines the axis of the elevation motion of the platform (2), and a working beam (3) connected by two cardan joints (a, b) to the photovoltaic platform (2) and to a vertical axis (4), respectively, said vertical axis being eccentrically articulated and parallel to the pillar, thereby the azimuth motion of the fork (1) being converted into elevation motion of the platform (2). |
