<p>The present invention relates to an intelligent cinemometer and a network for monitoring the road traffic meant to determine the displacement speed and to collect information in order to ensure the traffic security. The claimed cinemometer comprises a Doppler detector (DD) linked with a primary detection unit (UPD) which takes over and processes the signals reflected by a vehicle in motion which are transmitted to an analogous-digital converter (CAN) which under the control of a control unit (UCP) stores them into an intermediary results memory (MIR) and a local coordination unit (UCL) with which a human operator may communicate by means of a local operation unit (UOL) and also a communication control unit (UCC) which ensures, by means of a transfer video unit (UTV), the control of a photographic apparatus (CV), meant to take over images of vehicles and a unit for adapting the images (UAI) to visibility conditions, the communication control unit (UCC) centralizes the relevant information on the terrain events in a local memory unit (UML) and periodically transmits them by means of a communication unit (UCom) to the upper hierarchical level of centralization and final processing of the information. The claimed monitoring network comprises a group of intelligent cinemometers (UR1, UR2 ...URn) which collect the traffic information and transfer them through a communication network (RCD) to a central dispatcher (DC) comprising a server (SIC) of collected information and a server (SIR) of reference information, the latter being connected with some working stations (Us1, Us2....Usm) provided with a printer (P) and a machine (MP) for automatically introducing the documents into envelopes.</p> |
