PURPOSE: An air cooling control method for a solar power generation inverter is provided to monitor a cooling effect by detecting the malfunction and failure of the device. CONSTITUTION: In an air cooling control method for a solar power generation inverter, a solar battery string supplies power. An inverter driving unit(210) switches power on/off. A harmonic filter(240) transforms the output at each phase into a sinusoidal power waveform. An output transformer(250) supplies the sinusoidal power waveform to a power grid. An outside temperature sensor(410) senses external temperature. An inverter drive temperature sensor(450) is included in the cooling fin of the inverter driving unit. A condenser temperature sensor(420) is included outside the condenser. A harmonic filter temperature sensor(430) is included in a third compartment(330). An output transformer temperature sensor(440) is included in a fourth compartment(340).
