STEERING MECHANISM

The invention relates to a steering mechanism of the deltoid type, meant to steer a solar platform about an axis, with a view to maximizing the solar radiation received by the platform. According to the invention, the mechanism consists of a quadrilateral deltoid mechanism comprising a short working beam (1), a connecting rod (2), a long working beam (3) having the same length as the connecting rod (2) and a base (4) having the same length as the short working beam (1) which is actuated by a linear actuator (A) provided with two articulations: an articulation with the base (4) located eccentrically in respect of the articulation (1-4) and an articulation overlapping the articulation (2-3).
