PURPOSE: An improved English keypad using a slide method is provided to select a basic key and an alphabet key which is applied to the basic key. CONSTITUTION: A user is able to input an alphabet which is applied to a basic key using the basic key and a special key for adding a stroke. A slide type character input method of a virtual keyboard is applied to an advanced English keyboard. The user selects the basic key. And the user selects the additional alphabet by moving a finger in the slide input method. Therefore, the amount of finger movement is reduced. |
