Disclosed are styrylpyridine compounds of formula (I), wherein R2 is an ether moiety of formula (i) or formula (ii), and the rest of the substituents are disclosed within the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the compounds of formula (I), which is radiolabeled, in the manufacture of a diagnostic composition for use in a method of imaging amyloid deposits in a mammal.
