Disclosed is a process for the preparation of a compound of formula (I), wherein Ra is C1-3alkyl, Rb is halogen, and wherein the other substituents are as described in the specification, comprising reacting a compound of formula (II) with a compound of formula (III) and an oxidising agent. Also claimed are intermediates used in the process.
