A door 10 for an open faced goods display cooler 2 includes at least one perforated panel 13 to slide across the open face of the cooler. The panel is of transparent material or provided with a portion that is sufficiently transparent so that the goods in the cooler are visible when the panel is closed across the face of the cooler. The perforations 13 of the panel are distributed over the panel to provide airflow through the panel over substantially the whole area of the panel, and the perforations are between 3% and 4% of the total panel face area. The panel is provided with an air entry aperture 14, preferably near the top of the panel, and of an area large enough to allow a substantial flow of air into the cooler. Such a door permits the goods in the cooler to be easily seen whilst the door is shut, and to be easily accessed by sliding the door open, but prevents excessive disturbance of the cooling air curtain flowing down the front of the cooler behind the door whilst preventing formation of condensation on the door which would obscure the view of the goods.
