Packaging carton or article that is made out of multi-ply blank (8) is disclosed. The multi-ply blank (8) comprises at least one minor blank (105, 205) and at least one major blank (5). The at least one minor blank (105, 205) is adhered to the at least one major blank (5) so that the total overlapping area between the major (5) and minor (105, 205) blanks is less than the entirety of the major blank (5). The carton or article includes a liquid-tight vessel or bag (90) that is attached to at least a portion of the interior surface of the multi-ply blank (8). When the multi-ply blank is folded and transformed into a carton, the liquid-tight vessel or bag (90) lines at least a portion of the interior volume of the carton.
