A hand hole-saw (10) with a hole guide (38) is disclosed. The hole-saw (10) enables a hole to be created centred about an existing hole. The saw (10) has a body (12) to be held in the hand during use with a cylindrical saw (14a) secured to it. A guide (38) is releasably secured to the body (12) inside the cylindrical saw (14a), the guide (38) being generally cylindrical in shape and tapering inwardly from a first end (41) towards a second end (42). A flange (36) extending outwardly from the periphery of the body (12) acts to contain and catch any waste produced by the creation of the new hole. A pilot drill (22) connected to the centre of the body (12) guides the hole-saw (10) when no existing hole exists.
