FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves stages of receiving measurement results of three-phase currents from both terminals, measurement results of three-phase voltages from one terminal of the line, parametres of the line and short circuit type. On the basis of this information the distance to short circuit location from one terminal on which phase voltages were measured is determined. ^ EFFECT: as far as only phase voltages of one terminal of the line are required, functional capabilities can be enlarged, namely of current differential relays, in the part of determining the distance to location of short circuit in independent mode. ^ 7 cl, 11 dwg |
