A kit of transmission replacement parts comprising a shifting barrel for moving forks to shift speeds, the barrel having five positions, including a fifth position acting as a neutral position. The kit also includes a shaft allowing a plunger to rotate when shifting, the shaft having five grooves, the grooves corresponding to the five positions of the barrel. The kit also has a gear for transferring movement of the shaft to the shifting barrel. There is also provided a kit of transmission replacement parts comprising a cam plate welded to a shaft wherein one more notch has been added to the transmission. The kit is made to relocate the position of the neutral on the shift pattern for a motorcycle transmission.
