<p>The present invention relates to a bed (1) primarily consisting of a number of parallel slats (2) arranged at a distance from each other. The slats (2) form a substantially horizontal plane, said slats (2), in an area near the ends (2a, 2g) of the slat, being fixed to a frame (3) and the central portion (2d) of the slats forming the lying surface of the bed. The slats in the areas (2b, 2f) between the central portion (2d) of the slats and the ends (2a, 2g) of the slats are bent at least two times in each of said areas and the stiffness of the slats is higher within an area about the middle of the central portion (2d) thereof than at the ends (2c, 2e) of the central portion (2d).</p> |
