<p>A wireless external device is equipped with a storage unit for storing the device identification code of the wireless external device, a second wired communication unit for receiving the device identification code of a wireless remote controller from the first wired communication unit of a wireless television, and a pairing information generating unit for generating pairing information for the wireless remote controller and the wireless external device by inputting the device identification code of the wireless remote controller and the device identification code of the wireless external device. When the pairing information, sent from the first wired communication unit, is received by the wireless television and is sent to the wireless remote controller from a second wireless communication unit, the wireless remote controller and the wireless external device become paired. When the wireless television and the wireless external device have equivalent functions, one of the functions selected on the basis of a predetermined setting will be performed.</p> |
