<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot and a robot system further improved in the performance of space saving while further expanding a movable range. <P>SOLUTION: The robot 1 includes a base 10 and an arm formed of a plurality of structural members connected by a plurality of joints.
