<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information indicating a display state of an image under a selectable display mode in an image projection apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image projection apparatus has: an operating means 9 allowing a user to select a display mode to be used from among a plurality of display modes; discrimination means 2 and 3 for discriminating at least either an aspect of an input image signal or an aspect of a projected plane; and controllers 4, 105, 6 and 10 in which the aspect discriminated by the discrimination means is compared with an aspect of an optical modulation element 7, and when these aspects are different from each other, information indicating a display state of an image under each of the plurality of display modes is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
