PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an IPM rotor capable of getting high filling efficiency of a filling agent. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the IPM (Interior permanent magnet) rotor, a permanent magnet 14 is embedded in each of a plurality of slots 13 in the rotor core 1. Further, a filling agent 15 is filled in a gap between a slot 13 and the permanent magnet 14 to fix the permanent magnet 14 to the slot 13. Therefore, one end of the slot 13 is blocked up to apply a first adhesive agent 9 to the blocked bottom 13a of the slot 13, and to apply a second adhesive agent 8 to a side wall 13b in the opening position of another end of the slot 13. The second adhesive agent 8 has higher viscosity than that of the first adhesive agent 9, and is cured when brought into contact with the first adhesive agent 9. The first and the second adhesive agents 9, 8 are brought into contact and cured by inserting the permanent magnet 14 into the slot 13. Accordingly, the permanent magnet 14 is tightly fixed to the slot 13 with both agents serving as the filling agent 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
