PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type rice-planting machine contributable to an improvement in traveling stability, and capable of enhancing the rigidity of a chassis. SOLUTION: A traveling vehicle body 1 includes right and left side frames 21, a front frame 24 connected to these frames, a mid frame 25 and a rear frame 26. The side frames 21 are separated into a front side frame 22 of a substantially horizontal attitude and a rear side frame 23 of a backward inclined attitude, and the rear side frame 23 approaches inside more than the front side frame 22. The rear frame 26 is supported by a rear column 27, and the rear column 27 is installed in a rear axle case 53. Since an interval of the front side frame 22 is large, even an engine 6 of a large lateral width can be arranged in a state of sinking under the front side frame 22, to thereby contribute to an improvement in the traveling stability.
