PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding amount adjusting mechanism having an increased adjustable range of a feeding pitch. SOLUTION: The feeding amount adjusting mechanism includes: a feed converting member 23 for changing and adjusting a feeding pitch; a feed adjusting dial 44 for setting and inputting a feeding pitch; a feed adjusting member 42; an abutting member 50 moved forward and reverse with the rotation of the feed adjusting dial; and forward-reverse switching means for switching forward and reverse feeding directions. The feed adjusting member has a cam face 42a abutting on a distal end of the abutting member, and the rotating motion is input in accordance with the forward and reverse movement of the abutting member. The cam face is composed of one smooth flat face. The feed adjusting member is configured to adjust the forward feeding pitch when obtaining a feeding pitch of zero in a state in which the feed adjusting member is turned orthogonally to the abutting member and if the cam face is rotated to abut on a single side with respect to a center of the tip portion of the abutting member 50, and to adjust the reverse feeding pitch if the cam face is rotated to abut on a reverse side to the center.
