Provided are a polycarbonate resin film which contains constituent units derived from a specific dihydroxy compound and has excellent mechanical strength and thickness evenness, and a process for producing a transparent film. The polycarbonate resin film is a film formed from a polycarbonate resin at least containing constituent units derived from a dihydroxy compound having a linking structure represented by structural formula (1). The polycarbonate resin film satisfies relationship (2) when examined through a tensile test at a pulling rate (strain rate) of 1,000 %/min. at a reference stretching temperature. (No hydrogen atom is bonded to the oxygen atom contained in structural formula (1).) 0.9 = (lower yield stress in tension)/(upper yield stress in tension) = 1 (2)
