<p>A capsule-type endoscope power supply starter (7) comprises: an insertion portion (7a) which is formed in the direction of the central axis (L) and into which a capsule-type endoscope (2) is inserted so that the longitudinal direction of the capsule-type endoscope (2) is along the direction of the central axis (L); and magnets (71a, 71b) for generating magnetic lines of force (B1 to B3) substantially symmetric with the central axis (L) as the axis of symmetry even in any plane including the central axis (L) of the insertion portion (7a). This eliminates the necessity of adjusting, when applying a magnetic field to a reed switch (2a), the positions of the magnets (71a, 71b) and the position of the reed switch (2a) within a substantially same plane, so that it is possible to easily apply the magnetic field to the reed switch (2a).</p> |
