<p>The embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for obtaining network traffic distribution, wherein the method includes the following steps: computing the route topology of the network; collecting end-to-end network data traffic at the edge of the network; according to the network route topology and the end-to-end network data traffic, obtaining the network traffic distribution. By collecting the end-to-end network data traffic at the edge of the network, the effect on normal network performance is reduced; meanwhile, the network traffic distribution is obtained according to the network route topology and end-to-end network data traffic.</p>
